THAT SAID. I did find new stuff yesterday!!!! My grandfather’s cousin, LaVerne, who I’ve talked about here before is just extraordinarily interesting to me. He spent almost all his adult years in prison for a murder that … tbh, the evidence is weak on (1922). But I always want to learn more about his life outside of prison. Like being a Sergeant in WWI. Or his first 2(??) marriages he had in his early 20s. He ‘moved’ between states in a way I can’t even understand for 1917-1922???

Sometimes we do learn a little nugget or can rule out someone that's not our person/family
