Potential client contacted us asking for last minute space today, I referred him to one of our artists coming in later today who has space- I reached out to her to get a price estimate so I could pass that over to him. When I respond via text with the price he says “that’s crazy I’ll pass” and then calls to ask to do less, when I inform him that she isn’t willing to do less but we have an apprentice that can help for far under what he was looking to spend if he likes their quality 1/4

Every bit of my soul wants to tell him if he doesn’t like the price to simply go fuck off, it’s not that deep. Instead I explained nicely that a few blocks up there are shops that will quote him 2x her price and a few blocks the other way that will charge half- I hope he finds what he’s looking for and then I even gave him a name of 2/4
