ANYWAY. I realized I hadn’t searched fold3 using his military serial number yet. And boom- passenger list from his return from France in 1919. Has his first wife’s first name and an address…. In CHICAGO? I know that isn’t necessarily an address he went to even, but that adds a NEW state to my list lmao 🤣🤣

Sent to Ohio, then France, back to Ohio. Wife is in Chicago I guess though? He went AWOL to Iowa for a min, but. Then he’s in jail for 2 years in Iowa for check forgery. He gets married in South Dakota right(??) after that, and arrested there. Escapes on the transport back to Iowa. Then he’s arrested again in Minnesota Jan 1923, where he had been living
