I met with one of my oldest friends yesterday, and we talked about the importance of me writing the book I haven’t been writing, and how I’ve been hiding in my fiction writing as a way of avoiding it. So, after spending most of my day in conflict, and finding other things to do (nobody actually enjoys weeding the garden, right?) I made a start this evening and I’m currently 5000 words in. Fingers crossed this continues… 🤞
