I appreciate the ongoing conversation between Gov. Hobbs and the lead legislative water negotiators. We agreed that the urgency of protecting rural water demands immediate action, even with legislators unlikely to gather for a special session this year. Water in AZ is not a partisan issue and we must find common ground.
