I’m a teacher and parent. My school requires me to give homework so I have to assign it and my children who attend the same school have to complete it. I give 4 math problems each night and 1 lesson in my required software per week. My students tell me the nightly problems take them around 10 minutes each day, which I don’t feel is out of line. I encourage them to work on it when they have spare time. I would prefer they spend after school time with family, playing, reading or doing a hobby.
