Verstappen did not do any F2. And when Lewis stepped into F1 he was a rookie that none of us knew what he can do achieve. But every F1 team have what we have not : data. What a driver can or can do is better express in real life data and telemetry than « proof » acquired through F2. We had evidence time and time again than F2 results does not mean much when it comes to F1 performance.
