When texting became a thing, I recognized that I communicate better through the written word especially with romantic interests. My first thought is usually flawed (too aggressive, too pointed, too horny, etc) but when I text, I get to filter all that out. I prefer to fight via text too. Tone is so overrated. You say what you are saying when you are writing.
