Do your neighborhood research. Just got to LA, lived in Atlanta for years in different parts. Very diverse, met some great people. Still can feel a bit segregated at times. Cost of living is substantially less than many places (but increasing as more move). There’s an abundance of culture, food, and events throughout the city. Plenty to do
