As a self-employed hairdresser, I can take as much time off as I like as long as I plan ahead. The only challenge is that my clients still need to be seen sometime close to their usual time (every 8 weeks, for example) so that means the before I leave for Scotland next Thursday, I've been working extra to get as many folks in as possible. And when I get back in two weeks, I jump back in at full speed. It's been an exhausting summer (family stuff) and I really need this vacation. Mama's tired. 💤
