Dancing in a polar desert 💃🏻 This is Lake Vanda, one of the frozen lakes in the Dry Valleys - the largest area of Antarctica that’s not fully covered in snow and ice. Vanda is easily one of the most beautiful lakes in the region. In addition to taking samples of microscopic organisms that survive in this polar desert, I flew my drone to get epic shots of the lake + mountains for my upcoming nature documentary.
