Though I'm grateful for this long weekend, September 1st marks one year since Hill Avenue Grace Lutheran Church lost our late pastor Zach Johnson - this Sunday morning Bishop Brenda Bos is visiting us to mark that anniversary, and we will sing my Pentecost Peace liturgy which is a part of his legacy.
