No, it will never be real art. Real art is made by humans, AI is stolen from real artists & merged into new images. It has no right to ever be called real art or art of any kind. It’s just images mashed together from real art with no permission from real artists to use.

No. Art is and always has been a form of human expression that comes from our emotions, experiences, beliefs, and ideas. AI lacks that in every aspect it’s not capable of having any sort of creative imagination or skill to make art without stealing it from the main source (humans).

I think it depends on how you use it. Slap some paint on canvas, push the camera randomly until something decent comes out? These are all lacking artful intent. Churning out AI images without a creative process behind it, is kinda the same thing. Images are like blobs of paint here. Everyone can paint, but how you transform the medium into a cohesive whole on canvas requires something else. It can be done, but you've got to inject yourself in the process of creation, and not just push buttons.
