Both those things can be true at the same time. Christianity can be the most common religion and still not be a majority. It's like if you have a basket of fruit with singles of 8 kinds, but two apples. I know it still doesn't answer the question as to why some people you describe as woke may find Christianity offensive. I wonder if part of it may be that in some arguments, the issue is not the issue, and that can feel unnecessarily frustrating, and wasteful of time
