My then-boyfriend was Burmese and he was chatting with these kids, who were interested in him. FYI, the paste on their faces is called 'thanaka'. It's used as a natural sunscreen and skin conditioner. It's made by grinding the bark of a tree with some water. It feels cool when applied to the skin. Scanned color negative
