Thoughts on Rings of Power 2.1 Why is Sauron giving a stump speech to orcs? This isn’t America Why does Sauron need a crown/why is Adar crowning him/why is Sauron kneeling for the crown Galadriel becomes weilder of Nenya because Gil Galad dropped rings and she calls dibs? don’t think so Why does Sauron choose to go back to Adar empty handed, only to get beat up for a little and then turn around and go back to where he just was with the elves, makes zero sense Other than that, was entertained!

8 小時內	Chris Hall hallchris57	Morgoth was defeated so they were leaderless. He probably recognized that even though he was the logical choice to replace him, Adar was more beloved. He had to not only defeat that opposition, he needed its endorsement as well. Other than Cirdan, Galadriel is likely the oldest elf left in Middle Earth by this point. So I’m not sure when she picked it up, anyone would have the nerve to try and take it from her. I think he went back to Mordor to scout out what to do next? My theories.
17 小時內	Some Guy eternal.placeholder	The speech & crown didn't bother me, I thought they communicated he was trying to seize control in the power vacuum left by the last big bad. Similarly, I thought going to and from Adar was part of laying the groundwork for manipulating the two sides. The ring thing though, yeah that was a pretty dumb way to go about it.
