Honestly, I do give him credit for rushing the vaccine that I did not expect would be ready for years, if ever. But he has some goddamn nerve asking for praise for anything else, given the way he disbanded the pandemic preparedness office, downplayed the threat when it arrived, forced governors to compete for vital equipment, failed to encourage masking, pushed to reopen early, undermined scientists and spread lethal misinformation.
