A few things could be happening…1. It takes time to release the shame of wanting/needing community. 2. Sometimes people have been hurt and now have become guarded because the definition of “friend” is totally unclear to them now. 3. Not everyone will come into this space and time having their “Golden Girls”. They may have one or 2 true friends and that’s good enough for them.
