weirdly enough, my husband has the same issue when he walks our maltese at the local park. sometimes he chills there for a bit, brings a blanket and a book, and doggo just lays in the sun, and people constantly walk up to him, let their dogs harass our girl, and try to chat with him. he said women are the ones that get most pissed when he tells them to please leave him alone 🙈 people just don't respect other people's space...
