Alright computer people, I'd previously built a computer for my son to play Minecraft and PlanetCoaster. His PlanetCoaster is lagging a bit and with PC2 coming out soon, it's time to upgrade. But... where do I start? 3 小時內	Brian ogdensbeard	GPU for sure, maybe a RAM bump to 32GB, but def a GPU upgrade. With 4GB VRAM a 6500 XT is just barely one step above GPU you buy purely for outputting a signal to monitor because the CPU doesn’t have integrated graphics. Minimum RTX X060 or RX X600, I’d probably take whichever has highest VRAM. Though that 12400F is on the edge based on system requirements.

4 小時內	Larry Eng larry_eng	Video card for sure. At least an 8 GB card, more if you can afford it. And I hope you’re running at least an SSD. If NVmE, even better. If you’re still running spinning magnetic disks (HDD) as your primary or game drive, upgrade that. I don’t think thermals are an issue, but it’s something to check as well. Then there’s bloatware that might have been installed that you might have to remove.
10 小時內	ariafhlt	Use reg edit to change some things around, I had Forza 7 running a PC from 2004 and all I upgraded was graphics card to a Radeon 550xt 4gb. Playing around in regedit and the prioritization is what got it running smooth. Prior to regedit changes it would not load past the start screen even after the card upgrade so this just shows the power that lies within regedit IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING
