How much should you expect to make at a single-day artist alley event (as a first-timer)? All these YouTubers talking about raking in 5-figures each event… just wondering how realistic that is? I just tabled at my first zine fest. I… think I broke even? It was cool being at a zine fest as an artist for the first time. While I wasn’t expecting crazy profits… it did feel like a huge hustle effort compared to the returns…. Is that normal? Am I off? ArtistsOnThreads

5 天內	Deth P. Sun dethpsun	5 figures is pretty unrealistic. Especially for a one day event. A realistic goal is based on the quantity + price point + quality of the products that you have. If you have 4 products & they’re all relatively the same you’re not going to make a lot. Tabling gets easier over time when you do the same event each year bc you’re slowly building your audience and folks look forward to seeing your booth the next year.
