If yall think the NaNoWriMo AI announcement is bad (it is), you should google “NaNoWriMo controversy” & go down the Reddit rabbit hole. It gets so much worse. Gross. Predatory. Examples include keeping volunteers who are racist, transphobic, & homophobic. & adult mods of under-18 writing groups sending the minor members of the group links to predatory fetish sites. If the AI stuff wasnt enough to get you to spend November writing on your own w/out using the NaNoWriMo website, that should be.
