My husband doesn’t want those who live around us to know who we support because he feels it’s too dangerous. I don’t think there are many people here who don’t know exactly who I support but I understand his fear. I just feel the cat is already out of the bag. I’ve lived here over twenty years. We got married five years ago.

At one time I lived near Wrigley Field in Chgo. My apartment had a designated parking space, but I constantly would find Cub fans parked in my space. Being a carpenter, I always had a handful I 16 penny cut nails in my truck. I would just place 4 nails under the tires so when they backed out the nails would puncture all 4 tires. It was easier than calling the tow truck. A 16penny cut nail ruins the tire. It leaves a big hole in the belt.

I live in St Charles County. One time I had gone on a march and left a "ban guns, not books" sign in my car. A man stalked and waited for me to come out of a store to "talk" to me about my sign. He wouldn't stop harassing me so I said you are not changing my mind, I agree to disagree. As I left I was worried he was following me home.

We (blue to the bone)live in deep red Indiana. Last election, you know the “one that was stolen” we had displayed a Biden/Harris sign. It was shot at. Still have the bullet hole in my house to prove it. So yeah, we dont display in our yard anymore but work quietly in the trenches behind enemy lines to make sure to help the blue wave tsunami.

Isn't it odd how you never hear the phrase "A Harris supporter keyed my car"? Or "I fear for my property if I put a Trump sign on my lawn"? But time & time & time & time again, you hear of deplorable actions by the weakest of what America has to offer?

Saw a woman at the park today in a Harris/Walz shirt and hollered at her that I liked her shirt. I told her you don’t see many of them around here. She said she just came from a union meeting of some sort and wasn’t sure if she should change before going out in public. Sad state of things, but I get it.
