Is it possible that idea of a victim mindset has been popularized in American culture so much that people forget that people are, in fact, victimized. Every day, all around the world, victims emerge as a result of war, poverty, bigotry, and in America, a great deal of indifference. Telling anyone “you’re always the victim” or “stop being the victim” is, more often than not, A grade bull. 🖖🏽
