The leather(?) seat on this chair is kinda cracked and losing its color. Any remedy for this? It’s not worth reupholstering to that’s out. Thanks.

4 小時內	Kevin Egan kevingan52	Many good suggestions here. One ancient treatment for dried, cracked saddles was linseed oil, alone or mixed with some sort of fatty substance. I had a very dry, very cracked Brooks bike saddle; copious warm linseed softened it to the point that I could massage the leather and reseal some of the cracks—like working with clay. Search “cracked saddle repair,” you’ll find many interesting techniques and products.
