Yes it's a time to remember that we're still here That our hearts still beat and neurons still fire Yes it's a reminder that God is a sustainer And I can't help but feel the grief of being that low The pain of knowing that we've seen how dark it can get The fear of walking into the dark again Lest we get swallowed up by the shadows All this to say Attempt survivors, whatever this month means for you I'm glad you're still here
