Yesterday was the 26th anniversary of the SwissAir crash in St Margaret’s Bay NS. A great number of my coworkers were on site throughout. The Sambro lifeboat was the first vessel onsite. Many are still traumatized to this day. I was tech support in the office and we were scrambling keeping our ships running as a couple had come out of maintenance or had mechanical problems we were managing. We became emotional support for the engineers onsite and not one of us was prepared for it
