The Loch Lomond Rock Festival, 26th May 1979. There was a Scotland-England football match that day so a photographer had the wizard wheeze of having a couple of random punks “watch the match” on an unplugged prop TV. Watching on bemusedly and ruining the shot were four bystanders. That’s the 17 year old me, peering over the shoulder of my companion. I’d just like to state for the record that I was wearing punky drainpipes, unlike my denim loon-clad associates.
