People seem to forget travelling is a privilege that is very new and not something everyone can do. I remember at a drama school audition being told to go travelling to experience life more. As if living in south London as a working class person isn’t life experience enough 🤣I’m lucky that I have been to other countries as a child when things were better but I’m sick of people acting like travelling abroad is a standard part of life for everyone.
