My partner and I always buy each other a book if we’re in bookshops without each other (except for that one time I didn’t and I’m SO sorry and I am still buying him extra books to assuage my guilt) and this is the most recent one he chose for me, which I would not have chosen for myself. Beautifully written, and in the last few pages I was struggling to read the words through the tears. Recommend.
