Controversial but I don't think PE in secondary should be compulsory if you can have an outside source that's not a parent (e.g. qualified Sports coach) confirm you're doing 3+ hours a week. Dancing: Minimal bullying. Much more easily controlled. Enjoyed what I was doing. Only childhood place with good and bad memories mixed. PE Class: Heavily bullied. Dsypraxia remained undiagnosed. Called all sorts of names. Hated every second. No one ever listened or cared to develop my skills.
