You don’t!!! I’ve had abdominal surgery and they rearranged everything. The only thing I felt was the incision. They naturally go back to their original position over time! The human body is so weird 😂

My sister suffered from an after-c-section thing called a paralytic ileus — it was temporary but she was very sick for a few days after her daughter was born. The hospital was hesitant to connect the two but a nurse told her that was likely the cause. Lesson is to advocate or in her case have someone advocate and don’t stop if you are not well.

I had one and I could absolutely feel the difference for a while 😬 Eventually it felt normal again though!
