It’s amazing how unprepared you feel, when a parent is diagnosed with a terminal illness - the amount of paperwork involved is overwhelming - power of attorney, wills - all the uncomfortable stuff people don’t like to talk about has become part of my every day life. It’s insane how quickly life can change. I urge everyone to have the uncomfortable chats sooner rather than later.
