I'm puzzled by NaNoWriMo's assertion that objections to AI to generate fiction are ableist. I did a fair amount of accessibility work in my nursing days. My dad specialised for years in accessibility tech for disabled people with high support needs. There are many tech tools that can and are used to assist disabled folk with all forms of human creative endeavour. I fail to see just how LLMs can do so in the field of creative writing? I am open to persuasion but I cannot yet think of a use case
