I've been seeing a lot of amazing designers complain about testers ghosting them after receiving the pattern (rightfully so). As someone who recently had a tester ghost them after receiving the pattern but STILL saw them applying for tester calls. I wish there was a database or group or something that would warn others pattern makers about potential serial pattern stealers 🥲

You emailed about a problem and didn’t get a response for two weeks later. I gave up otherwise I always hold up to my end of the bargain. I would never want to take a pattern for free from a designer.

I wasn’t required to post on social media, but I needed to review it and give them any notes that I thought needed changed. I had a deadline and they sent out emails reminding me when it was coming up. Protects your brand and you get testers

Best way is to first test your own pattern. It can never be that urgent to release a pattern. So take your time. Follow your own pattern - and long the way you will see what needs to be corrected or if something is not clear enough. Some misspelled words here and there is not a big thing!
