Finished TheRingsofPowerSeason2 premiere! Feels great to return to Middle-earth, and in such a way that vastly improves over S1. Stakes are higher, the tone is darker and remains consistent across the various plot-lines, and damn does this show still look gorgeous. Charlie Vickers IS Sauron - the way he manipulates others and pulls the strings of power for his benefit is as layered as Tolkien would want it to be.
