Distance is out on all platforms September 12th. ‘Distance’ is about drifting away from your partner in your relationship and knowing the end is near. The song describes feeling “distant” with your partner even when they’re right next to you. The track describes wanting to fight for the relationship while your partner is already “slipping away”.
