Does anyone really believe a successful debate for Kamala will change anyone's minds? I feel like everyone's minds are pretty made up at this point.

Hardliners don't decide the elections. Those people on the fence do. So those people on the fence in big states like PA...those that truly decide the election, things like this debate might make a difference.

Yeah, why are we poking the bear? It’s all for the media, I suppose.

i think it’s most likely to further derail trump’s ego and his campaign. i’ve seen a lot of magats saying the debate will prove she isn’t a good candidate, and when she silences that crowd trump will really have nothing left to stand on. his base will vote for him like always, but in a close election anyone turning away from him helps Kamala

I don’t get debates. What could they possibly say that will sway you. All the questions are things they usually already have communicated their position on. It’s usually just fighting and lies. Look at what Tulsi did to Harris. She lied about her record & ppl still believe it to this day.

I almost feel when she does way better than him as of course she will it will make Trump supporters hate her more. They hate her laugh, they hate women who outdo men, how will there be anything they would like?

The contrast with Trump might help her with a few voters. But people looking for her to ‘prosecute’ Trump will be disappointed.
