Having done 3 Avengers Half Marathons, I loved running through the park completely empty, having the overnight teams creating signs and cheering you on, bands on every corner, characters you rarely see, running thru the backstage areas, and the support from the city is fun. On different races I had the Boy Scouts in Angel Stadium cheering incredibly loudly as your name is put on the Jumbotron, the lowriders lying down the streets in Anaheim popping off as the homies cheer you on. Just rad!

While very expensive compared to other races, they are the best organized and executed races I have ever done. Tons of vendors come to the expo. Day of organization is great with tons of support staff. I don’t care about the characters but love that there is entertainment along the course.
