I despise the plastic hdr look of overly processed images - I do love the aesthetics and nostalgia of film and I love how @mastinlabs allows you to match the digital to film process There’s no wrong or right but I’d never hate on people for their preference- it’s what makes the world go round 🔥🌈🥳 Thanks for sharing 🙌🏻

Saaaame. No offense to anyone, but whoever hates on film photography because digital is “technically superior” is either: not an artist themselves, a bad one, or just doesn’t understand art. It’s another medium in which to express yourself. Why choose red? Or blue? Computer graphics are amazing, why does anyone still paint? Like, congrats, you can use great autofocus and take 20shots per second and get something useable, wow 🙄

Yeah I don’t get it, you don’t hear oil painters shitting on people who paint with acrylics. I did film for years before I got a digital, my digital is a 100mp medium format camera with 20 Fujifilm simulations and I STILL shoot real film over that in a lot of situations! It’s just a different medium that behaves differently.

Today it’s film hate. Tomorrow it’s back to digital hate. Those who criticize either as being better or worse are simply turds. I keep a quote from the great Clyde Butcher in mind: “It doesn’t matter if it’s digital or film. Light is light.”
