In September of 2022, we had just moved to Phoenix, Arizona when my daughter, Lillie was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma, a bone cancer. Lillie was playing around with her sisters when we noticed that she couldn’t extend her arm all the way out. When we took her to get an X-ray, it showed that there was a tumor in her left arm. In August of 2023, we moved back to the Greenville area to be surrounded with family but in March of 2024, Lillie relapsed. In March and April, she underwent double lung surgery to remove 11 cancerous nodules from her lungs and had her left arm amputated.
