Omg yes!! So validating that someone else has noticed this. I keep making benign or like, at least diplomatic comments on things and people will say the nastiest stuff. And then I’ll tell them they didn’t need to be nasty and they’ll defend it 🙄

Last week I commented on a post about someone’s rent being raised by too much, and I commented that it was illegal in that person’s state and it turned out I was wrong. Someone immediately wrote “Stupid people should not be allowed to speak.” Like, that is so unnecessarily mean.
