I went to a memorial service for this guy we met a year before. We had become close, great guy. Thought we would be attending the service as his best friends. About a hundred people came. We went up to his son (meeting for the first time) and told him we were John's best friends. The son said, everyone in the room has told us the same thing. What a guy.
