Living in a democracy is crazy. We get to decide who we want to govern and that’s great. But we have to pay attention. And that’s hard. In this the oldest of democracies we have men and women who never wanted people other than white men to truly make the decisions and they are now in the Republican Party. After the Voting Rights Act powerful right wing white men realized that litigating their white supremacy was not working. They needed to use the courts & college campuses. Influence young🧵1/3

It worked and is working. But in this democracy where we get to decide, the courts are being manipulated under the radar. Which is one of the many ways our media is failing us. They don’t report how the right is trying to pack the courts so that if they lose to Kamala they can start working their agenda through the 2/3
