he CG actually looks pretty good, but lighting on the actual actors just doesn't make them look like they exist in the same space as the environment. It makes it look expensive and cheap at the same time, it's hurting my brain.

I think the only bit that looks particularly good is the piglings, the rest of the mobs look kinda off, and I agree with you on the actors feeling very out of place in the world. I’ll check it out when it hits streaming, but it’s not one for me to make an effort to see 😅
