French designer Haider Ackermann has been appointed as the new creative director of Tom Ford, following the sudden exit of Peter Hawkings in July. The iconic American brand, which was led by its founder Tom Ford until April 2023, has been without a creative head since Hawkings’ departure after less than a year in the role.
