So I tell people when you are doing “cold calls” go straight to the point. Nigerians don’t have time for exchanging pleasantries, we are always angry 🤣🤣🤣 Here’s what I’ll say instead: Hello, my name is ….. from Z-ship, we offer logistics bla bla bla , I’m calling to inform you that we are (sell yourself , offering discounts etc )whatever it is here. I hope you patronize us soon. Simple & short. Befor the other person even thinks about cutting you short, you have sold yourself in 40secs.

These types are already determined so you have no choice 😂

This just shows that the customer care representative/sales/operations team we think they aren’t doing much are actually doing too much to make the business move. I am sorry,with this kind of cold call I won’t listen for long not coupled with the fraudsters everywhere in Nigeria… There is a way you will act with them like you know them to some certain extent ,also not everyone is ready for too much English and Nigeria slangs goes a long way,sir .
