I'll be honest, I've no idea where I am regarding menopause. My periods stopped when my thyroid stopped working at 43 and never came back. I'm 61 now and assume I'm on my way out the other side, but I've never felt "normal" since starting thyroxine. I've given up asking my GP for a referral as he bit my head off and told me I'd be wasting their time as HE knew what he was doing. I still get occasional hot flashes and my mental health is a daily struggle. Onwards and upwards eh? 🤷‍♀️
