When people from my same environment brag of full price buys my mind automatically goes to “wow you got scammed, I’m so sorry, next time tell me and I’ll find it for 5€ instead of 200 on vinted or something” being brought up in thrift culture really messes with your mind, most things above 15€ is just too much, that’s like a week’s worth of food? And the stores want me to trade that for a tshirt at the mall?
