Can we normalize acknowledging and validating someone experiencing with church before telling them what to do in the name of Christ?

When it comes to faith, we all have our own path to follow. Sometimes you have to step back and reset your perspective. It took me a long time to realize that in so many of the letters of Paul, he reprimanded members of the church for their behavior, not the “non-Christian” world. -Basically saying, “Don’t be an ass hat. You’re making Jesus look bad.” There are still plenty of ass hats in the church, but we’re not all that bad.

Following Christ is a personal decision and commitment. However, you will regret it later. At some point , Every knee will bow and every tounge will confess, Christ is king. I agree some churches misuse the word of god and don’t teach biblically anymore, and it’s a problem. I’ll pray for you
